The Kent Brass Quintet is a faculty ensemble-in-residence in the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music at Kent State University. The KBQ plays both original music and transcriptions from a wide variety of styles and periods ranging from the Renaissance to jazz and new compositions. In addition to concerts and recitals, the quintet enjoys giving performance/clinics for high school music programs throughout the region.
