The Hugh A. Glauser School of Music

The Percussion area provides students with a comprehensive background to develop the disciplines and skills essential to a professional musician or teacher. Undergraduate degrees are available to students who wish to major in Music: Bachelor of Music (concentrations in Performance, Theory, Composition, or Music Education), and Bachelor of Arts. Graduate programs for percussionists include the Master of Music in Performance, Music Education, and Ethnomusicology. Within each of these programs there is latitude for the student to specialize and still obtain a comprehensive knowledge of the percussion area.
