One of today's leading artists, Greg Banaszak has performed in both Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East, and throughout the United States.  While in Europe, Banaszak received an invitation to study with Paris Conservatory Professor Daniel Deffayet.  He has performed in Poland, Germany, Austria, France, Hungary, and Egypt. His European performances include concerto appearances with the Silesean State Philharmonic Orchestra, and solo recitals at Vienna's Bosendörfer Concert Hall, Lincoln Center, and Dom Pollonia House in Warsaw, Poland.  Banaszak has also performed concerts on Polish National Television, Vienna State Radio, Connecticut Public Radio, WVIT and WWUH. 

His debut CD Double Vision on the Open Loop label is available throughout the United States and Europe.

Banaszak's Middle East tour included performing with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra. He has presented masterclasses at the Oberlin Conservatory, the Hochschule Music Academy in Vienna, and the Tanglewood Institute of Music. 

Banaszak performs exclusively on Rovner Products, is a feature writer for the Saxophone Journal, and is a Selmer Saxophone clinician.
Banaszak holds a B.M. cum laude from the Hartt School of Music, an Artist Diploma from the Chopin Academy of Music, and a Performance Certificate from the Centre Musical D'Annecy in France.  His teachers include Vincent Abato, David Pituch, and jazz legend Jackie McLean.  He is currently on faculty as Assistant Professor of Saxophone at Kent State University and Assistant Professor of Saxophone and Director of Jazz Studies at Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music.
