Beyster Fellowships
for the study of employee ownership, profit sharing,
and
broad-based stock options in the corporation and society
The
Beyster Fellows Program at Rutgers University invites applications for the J.
RobertBeyster Fellowships.
These fellowships will be awarded for the 2009-2010 academic year
to outstanding Ph.D. candidates or post-doctoral scholars studying employeeownership
and related ideas such as profit sharing and broad-based stock options inthe
corporation and society in the United States. The fellowship would permit thestudent
to associate with several scholars engaged in this area of research at Rutgers
andreceive mentoring

Post Doctoral Fellowship.
This
fellowship will support pre-tenure scholars and recent Ph.D. graduates who are
studying employee ownership and related ideas. Typically, the emerging scholar
would be working on a book, research articles, case study, or a new research study.
The stipend is $25,000 for one year and can be used for research, travel, and
living expenses. The fellowship requires residency at Rutgers University. The
period and length of residency at Rutgers University would vary depending on the
scholar but it should occur between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010. Requirements:
Applicants should have a doctorate in a relevant social science, humanities, business
or public policy discipline or a professional post-graduate degree.
Beyster
Graduate Fellowship.
This
fellowship would support a Ph.D. student who is initiating or completing a thesis
on employee ownership and related ideas. The fellowship would typically support
two years of fieldwork, analysis, and writing after the completion of the qualifying
exam. The fellowship amount is $25,000 per year. The fellow is appointed for one
year with a second year renewal. The funds can be used to support full-time study
at Rutgers University or research and travel expenses for graduate students at
other Universities. Students who wish to combine the fellowship with graduate
study at Rutgers must be accepted into the School of Management and Labor Relations

vary depending on the student but occur between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010.

Ownership Graduate Research Fellowship
This
fellowship would support a Ph.D. student who is initiating or completing a thesis
on employee ownership and related ideas with research and travel expenses. The
fellowship amount is $10,000. There is no residency requirement. Requirements:
Open to current Ph.D. candidates in a relevant social science, humanities, business
or public policy discipline.
Undergraduate
Research Fellowship
The
fellowship would support undergraduate students who are working on a study of
employee ownership and related ideas. The fellowship amount is $1,000. The stipend
can be used for research or travel expenses. There is no residency requirement.
Requirements: Open to current undergraduates.

Applicants
must submit the following information in writing by December 1, 2008: 1. A statement
of no more than 1500 words describing their proposed research project including
its current status and broader significance; 2. A curriculum vitae; 3. Three letters
of reference (included in sealed envelopes or submitted separately by email to

Two
Beyster Fellowships, two research fellowships, and five undergraduate fellowships
will be awarded. The Beyster Fellowships are supported by the Foundation for Enterprise
Development. The Related Fellowships are supported by the Employee Ownership Foundation.

Technology has an opening for a Human Resources Director.
This position is directly responsible for all Human Resources activity at the
company including compliance with all laws, hiring and retention, payroll and
benefits, practices and record-keeping. This position is expected to maintain
current and recommend improvements to policies and practices.
The
successful candidate will have a minimum 5 years HR experience; a bachelors
degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources and
ability to provide the HR leadership to the Company. This includes experience
