EDWARD E. and MARGARET M. BAUER STUDY- ABROAD SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Edward E. and Margaret M. Bauer exhibited uncommon grace and style with a love of travel and an interest in cultures different from their own. Their daughter Ann Bauer Tucker established the Bauer Scholarship to encourage and support Kent State University students with an intellectual curiosity to study abroad. Ann and her spouse Jack are exemplary citizens of the University and have twice served as directors of the Geneva Semester.
Students interested in participating in the Geneva Semester in the fall 2009 or spring 2010 semester are invited to apply for this scholarship. Please complete this application and return it with an official copy of your most recent transcript, to the Office of International Affairs by the close of business on March 2, 2009.
You will be notified by mail of the result of your application. The award of the Bauer Scholarship is contingent upon participation in a study-abroad program during one of the aforementioned semesters. Minimum Qualifications: · 3.3 grade point average, · Currently enrolled in good standing at Kent State University, and · 64 credit hours completed by the end of the fall 2009 semester. · Candidates may be interviewed.
