Gardens and parks are special in Europe and should not be overlooked on your travels.  They are as varied in design as the countries and cities you may visit.  Featured at the right is the one at the parliament building in Bern, Switzerland's capital city;  Those of careful design and sculpture in Paris are in contrast to the Garden of the Five Senses on paved stones in Yvoire;  In Tichnio the garden is a home for modern sculpture and the one in Brugge has its backdrop, a building dated to 1713.
