ORIENTATION
Lavaux:  Villages and very steep vineyards between Lausanne and Vevey.  Includes St. Saphorin, where Charlie Chaplain often went for lunch.

  Montreux:  Take the train to Chateau de Chillon visited by more visitors than any other historical building in Switzerland.  In season it is also accessible by boat on Lake Geneva. 

Russin is a small village of wine-making, and the annual parade and festival are an exiting attraction.
SKIING AND WEEKENDS 
Champrey:  Ski village in Swiss alps accessible by train from Geneva.  Cable car to "Les Portes du Soleil," the largest international ski area in the world.
Chamonix and Mont-Blanc:  Highest mountain in Europe.  Take the cable car to the Aigle du Midi for fabulous view of glaciers and craggy peaks. A truly fantastic ride to the observation platform.
Eiger - Monch - Jungfrau: Villages of Wengen, Grindelwald, and Murren.  Spectacular mountains and good place to ski.
Lake of Luzern: The cradle of Switzerland.  Steepest cog-wheel railroad in the world climbs to top of Mount Pilatus.  You can hike in the footsteps of Mark Twain.
St. Moritz:  The glacier-express takes you over the high mountain passes to the Engadine region in eastern Switzerland.  One of the most fantastic train rides in the world.
Zermatt and the Matterhon:  An all-time-favorite ski resort, where you can ski all the way to Italy.
