Prague is the Castle and the towns.  The Castle is the most popular sight in the city and the largest ancient castle in the world (a castle is different from a palace).  It is the city of the Lesser Town, the Jewish Quarter, the Old and New Town.  . . . it  is a city of red roofs, opera and spring.  And there is always a crowd in front of the astronomical clock on the square in old town.  Not so long ago it was the city of the "quiet revolution" and the Prague Spring.
Prague is a very walkable city.  Climb the hill to the Castle and the changing of the guard, then down the steps to cross the bridge to the square in Old Town to see the famous astronomical clock.
