to August 1 - KSU's Summer II Semester Departure to Florence: June 5th Settle in time with host families: June 6 - 8: Classes Begin: June 9 Final Examination: July 31 Farewell Dinner with Families and Faculty: August 1 Return to the U.S.: August 2 Field Study Schedule Day Trips June 14 - Viareggio June 27 - Pisa July 12 - Lucca July 18 - Cinque Terre Overnight June 19 - 20: Venice July 4 - 5: Rome Pre-Departure and Application Schedule Application deadline: March 15 No Later than March 31: After your admission to the program, you must provide your passport, visa application and $1000.00 deposit to Judith Carroll, Program Manager, Office of International Affairs, Van Campen Hall, Kent State University. You will receive from the program manager more information about your visa application when you are admitted to the program. Registration for Classes - April - May via KSU Student Flashline. The program manager will provide you with information about the class section numbers. Air Travel: Details for the group flight, most likely from Cleveland to Washington to Dulles to Frankfort to Florence will be provided by the program manager. If you wish to return after August 2nd, please advise the program manager by April 15. Week of May 1st: Orientation session. Details will be communicated via email. |
