The University is a member of la Asociación Nacional de Universidades and Instituciones de Educación Superior (ANUIES) and the Organización Universitaria Interamericana (OUI). Among the courses of study offered at UAEM are Spanish Language at the intermediate and higher levels, Accounting and Business Administration; Anthropology, History, Architecture, Chemistry and Industrial Engineering, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacology, Rural Development, Psychology, Education and Human Communication; Law and Social Sciences. ▪ Student enrollment is 15,000; the majority of students are from the State of Morelos. ▪ Academic semesters are from the 3rd week in August to the 3rd week in January, and from the 2nd week in February to the 1st week in July. ▪ About two weeks are dedicated to exams at the end of each semester, so there exists some flexibility for U.S. students, who need to coordinate a return to their home university semester schedule. ▪ At the UAEM Campus you must be proficient in Spanish since the language of instruction is Spanish. ▪ The academic library contains more than 20,000 volumes. ▪ Special facilities include a geology and mineralogy museum. |
