African Community Theater

The Mbari Mbayo Players Repertory Company of the African Community Theatre helps to further the cultural development of students, staff, and faculty. The African Community Theatre's Mbari Mbayo Theatres I and II were established in 1980 on the first floor of Franklin Hall. The theatre is currently located on the 2nd floor of Oscar Ritchie Hall. Students productions are held every semester.

The African Community Theatre extends the reach and wealth of African-American creativity as presented through the theatre arts. The programs and facility are open to the entirety of the KSU family and residents of the Northeast Ohio region.
