Joel Hughes received an Ohio Board of Regents Research Incentive Award for “Depression, inflammation, and vagal function among patients in phase-II cardiac rehabilitation.” He also received a 2nd OBR award as a co-investigator with John Johnson (Dept. of Biological Sciences) for “Development of interdisciplinary, translational research model to study depression in laboratory animal and human subjects.”
