Organizations: Psi Chi

At Kent State there are two groups for psychology undergraduate majors: Psi Chi and The Psychology Club.

The KSU chapter of Psi Chi, a national honor society for Psychology majors, is a professional psychology fraternity for those students who have excelled in the academics of psychology. The organization hosts meetings every other week to provide opportunities for the members to learn about professions in psychology and the route to Graduate School. Currently, this organization is working to expand and focus on giving back to the community. Psi Chi is working on fundraising for Alzheimer's research and a scholarship for one member planning on going to Graduate School.

Undergraduates must be Psychology majors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who have completed at least 9 hours of Psychology. To join Psi Chi, please contact Psi Chi Presidents Rachel Gartner (rgartner@kent.edu) or Katrice Cain (kcain3@kent.edu).
