Winners were announced during the 12th Annual Celebration of Scholarship at the Distinguished Scholar Award Luncheon Ceremony on Wednesday, September 26 in the Kent Student Center Ballroom.

Since 1997, the Distinguished Scholar Awards have been given annually for outstanding research and/or creative activities by tenured/tenure-track faculty members. Presented by the University Research Council, the awards recognize the recipients and finalists as scholars who have brought positive recognition to the university.
