-Please write about issues you care about and send them to mpesa@kent.edu ASAP. All submissions for the February issue MUST be received by February 17th. Sooner is better.
Mike was reimbursed for $12.00 to renew the domain.
-Approved 500 half-sheet flyers to be distributed to incoming Freshmen. Mike took care of this, but the actual number of flyers made was 400, because that's how many allocated copies we had left in our account.
CHANGE agreed to co-sponsor Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine" movie with International Film Society and other groups. We will remind everyone about this closer to when the movie is shown at Kent State.
CHANGE will participate by giving away something that represents our group (fair trade coffee, mug, card with CHANGE message, etc.). Megan will take care of this.
Mike read statement from Greg Coleridge. There was no consensus on the proposal, and it had already been tabled once, so Mike withdrew the proposal. CHANGE will not sponsor POCLAD. Mike is trying to help Greg find a new sponsor for POCLAD.
-Ellen will send Megan Baldemar Velasquez's Bio for the allocations request.
-Baldemar is saving the date. David Rovics is planning to come.
-Megan will reserve the auditorium.
Nicole will look into advertising.
Mike will contact Rovics about sound system.
