AGENDA

I. STAND PROTEST

Students Taking Action for a New Democracy (STAND), are working on a sweat-free campaign like the one we did last year. They are meeting with the Powers That Be on Mon, Feb 18 (time unknown). They asked for our support. Casey volunteered to speak, but it would be good if someone who participated in our campaign last year could also make it. If you can go, please let us know.

II. APRIL 4TH (A4)

We brainstormed about a variety of issues surrounding April 4th: endorsements, promotion, additional activities, themes (i.e. living wage), etc. We will develop our ideas further at the next meeting.

WE ADJOURNED AT 7:00 TO SEE GERALDINE COX SPEAK ABOUT HOW ARMED CONFLICT AFFECTS CHILDREN. SHE WAS NOT EXACTLY A RADICAL BUT SHE STILL ROCKED. GO GERALDINE!

(sorry if I missed anything. Notetaking is not my strongest area.)
