~Black History Month: pick up a calendar there are many interesting events,MUST SEE - Feb 14 - Movie: Hurricane" KSU Student center Rm 206 1-3pm,Feb 15 Rubin "Hurricane" Carter speaks @ KSU Ballroom 7:30pm

*On the Agenda

~CHANGE meeting times will stay the same Thursday 6:00pm room 314
~E-Mail- everyone who was at the meeting have the password - we decided that NO listserv can be on the CHANGE listserv - the e-mail person will delete every e-mail older the 3 weeks.
~Spring Break - We are looking into a trip to the US / Mexico border, the trip will include visiting sweatshops and talking to workers and organizers. The cost of the trip is about $300 - we will post more information as we get it.
~United Students Against Sweatshops (USAS) first Mid-West Conference. Blue, Todd, Oren, Mary? And Ellen are going to the conference, it is $25 to attend + gas and food. LET US KNOW IF YOU WANNA JOIN! If money is a problem we will work it out.

*Responsibilities

~Ellen is the facilitator for the month of Feb
~Mike is the e-mail person for the month of Feb
~Blue is the note taker and Chandler will post them on the listserv for the month of Feb

WORKING GROUPS

*Outreach / organizational

~Mike will make 100 flyers for the PASS freshman program
~Megan will pursue an office space ~work to make the website more accessible and easy to use - web site address will be on every CHANGE flyer

*KSU / Sweatshop ~we are planning a ceremony in which the petitions will be presented to the KSU administration. Whoever has any petitions, please give them to Oren (kentdag@yahoo.com), the next planning meeting for this event is Feb 6, 5:00pm at the "house of JOB" (Jeremy, Oren, Blue) (330)676-1482
~Reaserch: -Anna will do a research on Follett corporation (they own the bookstore)
-Oren will research regulations regarding selling merchandise on campus.
-Jeremy will research the brand names that are sold in the book store.
