~Fair Trade~
*Shaun talked to Andrea Spandonis...Jess is a representative from Equal Exchange. Starbucks is considered Kent's Fair Trade coffee. She cannot give us the prices of the coffee Kent orders, but can give us the name of the distributors (we can probably get the prices from them)
*Shaun will contact Equal Exchange and attempt to find out who Jess is

*We watched the video "Grounds for Hope"...documents the differences between the lives of coffee farmers who sell to "coyotes" and those who use co-ops.

~Davis Besse~
*Carol Cartwright is on the board of directors for First Energy...
We will find out when the board of directors meets and present them with our desire to have Davis-Besse closed down.
*Ellen suggests that we open a Lemonade stand to spread the word about the "lemon"
*we must find out the rules for distributing food on campus.

~Super Happy Fun Times~
*Nov. 11 is a day off for Veteran's Day. We would like to get together that weekend as a group to have a camp out or something so everyone can get to know each other better and to reward ourselves for the work we have done so far this semester.
*Any ideas for venue or activities?

~Agenda for next week~
*Everyone brings what they know about fair trade... we will be determining what we know so far and what other information we need to gather.
*We will watch "Santiago's Story", a video about Santiago Rivera, a coffee farmer from Mexico whose life was changed because of fair trade.
*Plans for Davis Besse Lemonade stand
*POCLAD update (did we get the allocation?)
