On April 19, 2001, CHANGE members went to Cleveland with other students (from KSU and other universities in the area), union workers, and community members to protest the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas. We returned on April 21 to participate in a street theater event, the "Race to the Bottom", symbolizing the international destruction of labor rights and the environment, as a result of free trade agreements like the FTAA.
