"Harmony between Believers and Non-believers"

Student speakers

Jane

Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a traditional Chinese self-cultivation practice that improves mental and physical wellness through a series of easy to learn exercises, meditation and development of one's "Heart/Mind Nature". The practice is based on the universal principles of truthfulness, compassion and forbearance.

I’ve benefited from the practice. I was not very healthy and I felt depressed very often before I learned Falun Gong. After I gave birth to my first child I felt very tired. My heart sometimes felt uncomfortable. I had allergies, etc. After I practiced Falun Gong for about five months, my allergies were gone, and so were other physical ailments. The biggest difference was that I overcame my depression through the practice.

My idea of harmony is if more people follow these three principles: Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, then we could create a more harmonious society.

(Ms. Jane is a graduate of Beijing Normal University. She has been practicing Falun Gong since 1999.)
