"Harmony between Believers and Non-believers"
Student speakersMr. Naresh ShakyaThe purpose of my talk is about my experience with my religion “Buddhism”, which I received by birth. Actually, I am neither an expert in Buddhism nor will be able to become an expert. But as I grew up in a Buddhist family and practiced the rituals, I have felt that my life was attached with my religion. It has now helped me to move on better in life.I'll talk about religious initiation as a child, living in a locality surrounded by Buddhist artifacts, involvement in different social activities in the name of religion that affected my beliefs and actions. To be a Buddhist is to maintain daily discipline, develop tolerance, ease social life and continue the practice for posterity so that good values are shared for the benefit of all.Mr. Shakya is a doctoral student in physics department at Kent State University.)
