ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY REGARDING PARTICIPATION IN STUDENT ACTIVITIES
1) Any student compensated for a leadership position, as defined in 3342-7-11 of this register and the Administrative Code, must be enrolled in and regularly attending at least eight undergraduate credit hours or six graduate credit hours. 2) Any student compensated for a leadership position must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.25, not be on academic probation or semester warning, and have passed at least six or more hours in preceding semester of attendance of attendance. First semester students who are not officially classified under a transfer status are exempt from this requirement. 3) All student officers and/or spokespersons of registered student organizations not compensated by university policy must be enrolled in regularly attending at least three undergraduate credit hours or three graduate credit hours. 4) All student officers and spokespersons of registered student organizations not compensation by university policy must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.25 and not be on probation or semester warning. 5) A single summer term does not affect eligibility expect in regard to the cumulative grade point average. A two-term summer program has the same status as any other semester. 6) The faculty advisor and the chief student leader of each organization are primarily responsible for determining the eligibility regulations. Any members of, or advisor to, an organization may request the center for student involvement formerly office of campus life staff determine the eligibility of officers of that organization on the basis of these criteria. Additionally, the campus life officer may initiate the checking procedure. If any students are ineligible to hold office, the advisor and chief student leader will be notified. Any student who is a participant in the activities described in this rule must withdraw from such activity at once if he becomes ineligible to participate. A faculty advisor shall be required to review student standing at the beginning of each academic term.
