Become a Member

Volunteering is a great way to get involved and by being a member of the Kent State American Red Cross Club you will be able to volunteer at drives on campus. While volunteering you will learn how to run registration, canteen, and if you choose to learn, bag labeling. Please check our meeting times on the homepage so that you can come to a meeting and learn more about our club. Or, you can email the club at ksuredcross@gmail.com your name and email address to become a member.

Official membership in the Kent State American Red Cross Club requires you to:

1) Be a student at Kent State University (full-time or part-time)

2) Complete 10 volunteer hours during the semester

3) Attend 4 meetings (or, if you are unable to attend the meeting, make up for it by completing five volunteer hours)

Volunteering is the core requirement to being a member of the Kent State American Red Cross Club which is something you can sign up to do whenever you have time. We also do other activities as a club which you are not required to do but we hope that you will consider joining us for because they are fun and a great way to meet the other members. We hope that you'll consider joining!
